Integrated, intelligent EV charging

Renewable energy transition poses major challenges to all sectors, but construction and logistics feel the impact keenly. Family-owned firm Max Wild GmbH knew they had to make bold moves if they wanted to meet their climate commitments.

The decision was made to supplement their existing solar power systems with a 180 kWp electric carport. That would take more than installing enough charging infrastructure to supply Max Wild’s fleet. An integrated energy management system was also needed to regulate the network’s host of new components.

With our strong track record implementing this kind of transformation, BayWa r.e. led the project.

Providing a holistic digital charging solution demands end-to-end perspective and insight. From advice and planning to selection and installation of hardware, Max Wild felt the benefit of our expertise. Ongoing customer support with operations and billing services continue to ensure long-term success.

Together with our eMobility partner, TankE, we were able to support Max Wild’s team from their HQ in Berkheim. Five wall boxes were installed, 10 AC charging points in total, along with the latest monitoring and control systems. 

Investing in eMobility lets Max Wild add a vital component to their energy solutions portfolio. These measures can also have a positive impact on the company's reputation.
