BayWa r.e.’s Corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) policies and guidelines describe our approach and the standards we commit to as a global company.
We have established these binding ESG principles and guidelines to outline how we work with our internal and external stakeholders. These apply across all our subsidiaries within the BayWa r.e. Group.

Rules of Procedure Supervisory Board
The Rules of Procedure highlight the regulations on the duties of the Supervisory Board.
Rules of Procedure Strategy Committee
This sets out the rules for the Strategy Committee, who advises the executive board on the strategic development of the BayWa r.e. Group.
Rules of Procedure Audit and Investment Committee
This sets out the rules for the Audit and Investment Committee, who monitors the accounting process and the risk management system and is responsible for approving certain investments.
Rules of Procedure Remuneration and Nomination Committee
This sets out the rules for the Renumeration and Nomination Committee. The committee supports the Supervisory Board in structuring the compensation system for the Executive Board and Supervisory Board.

This sets out the rules for the Sustainability Committee who discuss sustainability-related topics (Environment, Social, Governance - ESG).

ISS awarded BayWa r.e. with their Prime rating (B+), and assigns BayWa r.e. in the top 10% of the industry. The ISS Rating agency rates companies towards a comprehensive overview of ESG and sustainability issues including the impact on climate change, contribution to the UN SDGs, protection of human rights and good corporate governance amongst others.Rating (As of: 19.09.2024): B+
